Episode 165 – The Meh Episode
The guys open up discussing How DT is having phone issues and why he likes Android over iphone. Mack discusses seeing the Shatner documentary over the weekend. DT describes the High Kings concert he went to. Then they talk about how they are t looking forward to any future sci fi projects coming up. They discuss why and how award panels and executives don’t seem to take scifi/fantasy seriously. They end by going through the last 25 years of Oscar winners and how they don’t reflect much in the way of Scifi.

The guys share what they did for St. Paddy’s Day. Mack discussed the Knishes his mother in law made from scratch which is a departure from corn beef and cabbage. DT goes over his massive family get together and how grateful he is for that together-time. They then delve into more episodes that affected them like Enterprise’s North Star and SG-1’s Cold Lazarus.

The guys open up with the fact St Patrick’s day is coming up. They then delve into the episodes in Sci-fi that affected them deeply beginning with TNG’s The Wounded. That takes most of their time but then they delve into B5 and other episodes. Ultimately it leads into another Part Two to look forward to.
Episode 160 – Off the Cuff
This movie portrayed a Mexican restaurant in England…
The guys don’t have any specific topic today. But they delve into their anticipation for Saint Patrick’s Day, their heritages and how they love a good Mexican restaurant. Then they explore the world of Ducktales 2017 and how it honored the original show and fans. This leads to a discussion of how the Star Wars sequel trilogy failed.
Episode 159 – Where to go with Star Trek/Wars
The guys discuss how they would take the current state of Star Trek and Star Wars and where they would go. They talk about a new season for Star Trek Legacy, or an anthonolgy series that changes every year. Then in Star Wars, DT suggests where the Mandalorian Era can go. Mack asks where the franchise can go post sequel trilogy.
Episode 158 – Making Bad Sci-Fi Good
The guys take this episode to discuss bad movbies and shows with good premises and how they can be retooled in to great movies. They start off with Andromeda and it’s Star Trek roots then exemplify the original and rebooted Battlestar Galactica. They explore the movies Mystery Men, Batman and Robin and more as they get their creativity going and even come up with a solution for Star Trek Nemesis.
Episode 157 – Lookin for Love in Sci-Fi Spaces
The guys are back. They discuss how Mack got a new puppy and how run down he’s been in the last few weeks. Then they get into different relationships in Sci-fi. Mack wants to delve into the psychological meanings behind a Human marrying a Vulcan or a Klingon whereas DT just wants to decide if the relationships were good or not. In the end, they compromise.

Mack’s younger brother joins the guys to discuss his experience with Sci-Fi! They go over their favorite memories in discovering sci fi and what their shows were and how their pasts related to each other. Then the conversation devolves into chaos and sound bytes and laughing.
Episode 155 – Our Super Theme Super Review Again
Mack opens the show by briefly discussing his daughter’s cheer competition showcase he came back from. Then the guys delve into more of their favorite intros such as the Super Friends, Scooby Doo and Darkwing Duck.
Episode 154 – Who are The Masters of the Universe

Mack starts the show with him discussing how he avoided a local politician soliciting at his door today. Turns out he liked the guy and felt guilty for mot answering the door. Then they get into the history of He-Man and how he came to be in his many iterations and DT finally convinces Mack to watch the Netflix show for it’s new season of Revolution.
Episode 153 – Tilly vs O’Brien
The guys open up with DT talking about his anniversary and going to Red Sox Winter Camp and meeting members of the 2004 World Series team. Then they get into the writing between Nu-Trek and Classic Trek by discussing a post on Facebook describing Tilly from Discovery and another describing O’Brien. They go into the disparities in quality of the two eras in writing standards and how the endearment of the new characters feel forced upon the public.
Episode 152 – The Old School Theme Songs
We’re back! The guys go over what they did on their break. Mack talks about narrowly missing the alien invasion that happened in Miami while he was there after New Years. Then the guys dig into their favorite theme songs from their childhood. The explore Voltron, He-Man, the Smurfs, and many more!
Episode 151 – Happy Holidays in Sci-Fi
The guys go over their plans for the Holidays. They explore their Christmases Past and the Present. Then they go into different instances of any holidays celebrated in Sci-Fi, be it real or fictional. They discuss Life Day in Star Wars, the secularism in Star Trek, and the real extension of current holidays in B5 and how seeing that really grounds the story. Happy Holidays everyone!

They made it to the 150th Epsiode and the guys talk about their favorite or remarkable shows thus far. They listen to the opening of the pilot. Discuss the Brisco revisit and how they need to do it again. Then they go into what their plans are for the future and wish everyone a very happy holiday season.

The guys lost this episode and forgot to publish it shortly after Veteran’s Day. They discuss major actors who are legends that went onto different secondary roles such as Patrick Stewart in X-Men.

The guys go over the fact that DT is heading to see Chevy Chase in a Q&A after a screening of Christmas Vacation. Then they dig into some of the most underrated characters in Sci-Fi. The discuss the impact of Lt. Reginald Barclay, John Delancie, and others on how they impacted the fan experience.
Episode 146 – Prey’ed
The guys come back from their Thanksgivings. They commiserate on the wonderful dinners they had. Then Mack talks about his concerns for Disney as a studio and how they’re able to absorb the box office losses they are enduring. That moves into their discussion of the Predator prequel Prey. They discuss all the good and the very little bad. Mack points out why this is a nearly perfect movie, especially in this day and age.
