Episode 145 – Loki is Finished
The guys open up about their Thanksgiving plans. Mack again regals about how it’s his favorite holiday. The guys then go into the state of the MCU and how The Marvels is performing at the Box Office. DT liked the movie and Mack questions how Disney is feminizing it’s male brands, Marvel and Star Wars. Then they go into the end of Loki and how they appreciated the end of the character and his great arc.
Episode 144 – Lower Decks Season 4 et al
The guys talk about DT’s recent trip to Rhode Island Comic Con. His daughter was interviewed by Anthony Daniels and DT provided a video of his goodie box to show us on the website. Then the guys delve into the remaining 8 episodes of Lower Decks Season 4. Spoiler: They largely liked it.
Episode 143 – Loki Season 2 Part 1
The guys are back after their unexpected break. They recap their Halloween experiences, Mack discusses his Disneyland trip. Then they get into the first half of Loki Season 2 and go over the first three episodes.
Episode 142 – The Gimmick Episode
The X-Files Season 5, Ep 5 - Gimmick?
DT opens the show with critiques to the number of drops that Mack is now using. His solution? We need more. Then the guys eventually dig into the gimmick episodes of Sci-Fi exploring the X-Files through Stargate. They debate whether a crossover is a gimmick or not and decide how they best develop the shows they discuss.
Episode 141 – The Parody Show
The guys open up with hot football talk and how DT spent his Sunday at the Pat’s game to watch them lay a goose egg. Mack asks if Bellichek is on the way out, then he states how his Trojans are on thin ice with their defense. They then transition into different shows that were parodies of Sci-Fi staples Like Space Balls and Galaxy Quest. They then get into the rabbit hole with some Robot Chicken as well.
Episode 140 – Ahsoka Reckoning
Time to discuss the entire Ahsoka season. The guys go over the good, the bad, and the ugly. And Mack does what he always does, tossing a nice cold bucket of water on DT’s fun by discussing the writing mishaps and how the format of Disney Plus shows is not at all conducive to a satisfying watch.
Episode 139 – Upcoming Attractions
The guys take the time to discuss Patrick Stewart’s newly released memoire, Making It So. Mack reads excerpts from an article about some neat tidbits into what happened on the set of TNG. Then they get into the things they are excited for in the next few months with coming movies and TV shows.
Episode 138 – Lower Decks Season 4 premier
The guys talk about how DT is going to see a Jimmy Buffett tribute at a local drive in with his family and how much that means to him. Then they get into the Lower Decks Season 4 premier. The go through the first two episodes that came out and what they liked and really didn’t dislike. Mack has new drops to debut as well.
Episode 137 – Star Wars Rebels Review
The guys discuss their favorite Irish music and how DT went to a concert in Newport with his family. Then they get into what Star Wars Rebels was about. Mack did a retrospective rewatch of the pilot and discusses how it was a promising, if clunky and kiddy version of Disney Star Wars. DT delves deeper into the mythos of Rebels and talk about how it relates to the setup of Ahsoka and what to expect from that upcoming season.
Episode 136 – Ahsoka Episode 1
Time to know what the guys think of Ahsoka! They talk about what they like, the teases, the fact that this is Rebels Season 5 and that’s OK. Overall excited to see where the season goes.
Episode 135 – Farewell You Old Sailor
The guys are in mourning over the loss of Jimmy Buffett. They spend the show talking about his ties to Sci-Fi, and how his music influenced their lives in many different ways.
Episode 134 – Our Pitch Meetings
The Force Eaters
The guys decide to pitch their own ideas on the next step for Star Wars as a movie franchise. DT wants to explore the time between Episodes 6 and 7, Mack wants to move forward with an extragalactical enemy. Then they explore how Star Trek can continue as a TV show, exploring the potential of the post Dominion War time, and the fact that the Delta Quadrant is wide open for exploitation since the Borg were eliminated.
Episode 133 – Strange New Worlds Season 2
Number One dancing with Kirk… Yeah… This happened…
They’re finally doing it! It’s time to get what the guys think of Season 2 of SNW! And you probably already know how Mack will react. DT makes an insightful Family Guy reference in how the two work together when they discuss the show and their hopes for the future.
Episode 132 – The BS Episode
The guys open up the discussion to their love of general movies including actors like James Caan, Denzel Washington and Christopher Walken. Then they are interrupted by Mack’s crappy internet going out. Coming back from the break, Mack discusses a commentary video about the Ahsoka series and why the articles about it aren’t calling fans nasty names.

The guys are back from their little hiatus fresh to discuss Marvel’s Secret Invasion. The go through the ups, the many downs. Mack goes over the trend of making our heroes old and sad and rundown. They discuss the missed opportunities and what could have been.
Episode 130 – The Traumatizing Episode

The guys go through different scenes in Sci-Fi that they felt were disturbing or traumatizing. They disagreed if Alien counted because it was a horror movie first, then Sci-Fi. And yes, they talk about that one scene in Never Ending Story.
Episode 129 – To AI or Not to AI
This is the first companion episode the guys explored. It felt natural to go from the fallout of genetic engineering to the development of AI and computing. They talk about the Droid Army in Star Wars, Control in Discovery and how South Park commented on AI using ChatGPT.
Episode 128 – To Genetic or Not to Genetic
The guys recap their 4th of July then get onto the topic of Genetic Engineering in Sci-Fi. They focus on Khan in Star Trek and how long lasting that legacy was throughout the franchise. They explore Star Wars and the implications of the Clones. Then they go into other franchises including a hidden gem from The Outer Limits starring Alan Ruck and the ramification of where we are now with genetic engineering.
Episode 127 – Pop Songs Popping Up in Sci-Fi

The guys spend 4th of July Eve talking about their plans for the next day. Then they get into the subject of Pop Songs being in Sci-Fi. There is a lot of instrumental, but rarely does Pop music come in. They delve into Quantum Leap, Legends of Tomorrow, and of course Star Trek. But no Star Wars.
