Episode 221 – Mermaids The Body Fakery

The guys get into the idea of “Docufiction: which is a fictional piece of work that is meant to come off as a true documentary.   And the one that started it all in 2011 was Mermaids: The Body Found on Animal Planet.   It spawned numerous others including Megaladon for Shark Week which DT has negative feelings about.  They discuss the fallout of such work and how this idea could have been better implemented.
